How lucky am I?

I was joined by nine creative souls last weekend for an inspiring floral oil painting workshop at the beautiful Square Pear Gallery in Kennett Square, PA. I always get a bit nervous just before a workshop begins, whether it’s something local or abroad, and this time was no exception…all of those thoughts spinning around about will they like me, will the learn something new, etc, etc. But as soon as it begins I always settle right in and it feels completely natural and comfortable.

We had so much fun! We started out with a very simple practice painting just to get used to how the brush feels on the canvas…to get our hand used to painting with no expectation. Then we ventured into painting tulips on day one and sunflowers on day two. Aren’t they all beautiful? I’ll bet you can’t even tell that someone in the group never painted before!

I was joined by Jill & Melissa who travelled all the way from Indiana, Sarah who joined us from Minnesota, Barb, Alexis, Sharon, Traci, and her lovely daughter Emma, Betsy and thank you to Corien at Square Pear Gallery (https://www.squarepeargallery.com/) for hosting!

We even had a fun dinner together at a local restaurant that was such a fun time!

If you. would like to join me for a workhop in the future please do add yourself to my mailing list…I will be having a retreat in the south of France in June of 2025 and also have another workshop abroad in the works…so stay tuned!

Happy painting!
